NOTES A cable from the Philips Lamp Company, Holland, states that their shortwave station PCJJ will be on the air with regular test transmissions every "Wednesday and Friday from 5.30 to 8.30 a.m., ISew Zealand time. It will transmit ? n ., ? , wave-length of 30.2 metres. The initial programme broadcast by PCJJ was not a success but listeners report excellent reception of a transmission last Tuesday. The station has lately been removed from Eindhoven to Hilderstum.
