Round the Churches
The Ven. the Archdeacon of Auckland will preach at both services at St. Matthew's Church, W'ellesley Street, to-morrow. An anthem will be sung in the evening. Services as usual are being held tomorrow by the Associated Churches of Christ at Ponsonby Road, Dominion Road, Richmond, Onehunga, Avondale, Devonport and Mount Albert. The Rev. W. A. Sinclair is to speak at both services at Kdendale Presbyterian Church to-morrow. At th«Somervell Church,. Remuera Road, th* Rev. A. C. Randerson. M.A., 8.D., of Rotorua, will conduct both services. At the Grange Road Baptist Church to-morrow the secretary of the Oriental Mission will speak in the morning, and Mr. K. Melvin at the service in the evening. Nurse Clayton is to speak at the Spiritualists’ Church in the L0.0.1’ Hall, Pitt Street, at 7 p.m. to-mor-row. Her subject will be “The V/orld Beyond.” A talk on “The Mystic” will be de - livered by Mrs. Harris-Roberts at the Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Newton Chambers, to-morrow. "Truth” is the subject chosen for discussion at the P'irst Church of Christian Scientists to-morrow. The usual services are being held. At the Methodist Central M.ssion the missioner, the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour. will speak at both the morning and evening services. The usual song service or the Y.M.C.A. will be held to-morrow noonA sermon on “The Beauty of Holiness” will be delivered by Mr. B. M. Wilson at the morning service of the Royal Oak Baptist Church to-morrow. In the evening he will speak on "On# Thing Thou Eackest.”
