FUNNIER THAN EVER

“The Circus,” Charles .Chaplin's new film, which will be seen in London in March, was*declared by Mr, Joseph M. Schenk, president of the United Artists’ Corporation, to be the greatest picture he has ever seen. Mr. Schenk, who arrived at Southampton from New York, said: “ “Charlie’ is funnier than he has ever been before. Almost at the same time as the film is produced in England, ’Charlie’ will arrive to play in another new film, ‘The Suicide Club ’ for which many scenes will be taken on the Thames Embankment,” “The Englishman,” added Mr. Schenk, “is by far the best for male roles on the film, for he always knows how to deport himself, and how to wear and look best in his clothes, and he can act like a gentleman.”
