Mr. and Mrs. R. Mailings, of Dunedin, and Mr. and Mrs. T. Vaughan, of Christchurch, are staying at the Commercial Hotel. Mrs. Raleigh Peacocke and family, of Owens Road, Epsom, ■who have been holiday-making at “Orini Downs/* in the Waikato, are returning to Auck—land next week. Mrs. Lynn McKclvie, of Wellington, is a visitor to Auckland. Mrs. C. J. Bailey is visiting Christchurch. Miss L. Winstone is on a visit to Christchurch. Mrs. Walker, of Wanganui, is visiting Auckland and Rotorua. Mrs. If. E. Vaile and the Misses D. and M. Vaile are sailing by the Tamaroa to-day on a visit to England. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Ferguson and Miss Ferguson have returned to town from a visit to their farm at Kaikohe. Miss E. Crofts, Epsom, is staying at Orua Bay, where she is the guest of Mrs. If. G. Garland. Mrs. J. Macky is on a visit to Palmerston North, where she is staying with her., mother, Mrs. A. Guy. Misses I. and M. Harvey have left on a visit to Orewa. Mrs. C. Miles, of Wanganui, and Miss lliggins, of Napier, are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Miss Fitzpatrick and Miss McGowan are visitors to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Phillips are the guests of Mrs. Vincent, of Christchurch. * * * Mrs. Beveridge and Miss Marjorie Beveridge, of Coromandel, who have been spending a few weeks in Auckland, sailed for Sydney by the Maunganui. Mr. and Mrs. F. Lutyens arrived in Wellington from England by the Marama. Mrs. Lutyens, before her marriage, was Miss Annette Barton, of Featherston. Miss W. Dalston and Miss M. Dalston, of Takapuna, returned by the Tainui from an extended visit to England and the Continent. * * * Mr. Justice Reed and Mrs. Reed have returned from a visit to Russell, where they were staying with their daughter; Mrs J. Hellaby.
