AMATEUR ATHLETIC GATHERING AUCKLAND CRACKS TO COMPETE (From Our Own Correspondent) TE AWAMUTU, To-day. The Te Awamutu Amateur Athletic Club will hold its annual sports at Te Awamutu on Anniversary Day, January 30. A big programme has been arranged, and the club has secured the services of most of the leading Auckland amateurs, including Savidan, Shirley, Elliott, and the cycling stars Byrnes and Wade.
