Accidental Death. —A verdict o accidental death was returned yesterday at the inquest on Frederick Edge aged 34, who died from injuries received when his motor-cycle crashec into a telegraph post in Malvern Road Moraingside.

Struck by Car.—A widow .Mrs. Sylvene Byles, aged 80 was knocked down by' a motor-car between Avondale and Glen Eden last evening. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital, suffering f *om head i njuries. Her condition is not serious.

Fall From Cycle.—As a result of falling from his cycle, a farm hand at Puhoi, Leonard Cyril Wenzlich. aged 17. was ldmitted to the Auckland Hospital, suffering from internal haemorrhage. lie is progressing satisfactorily.
