CHILDREN’S PICNIC
PLAY ASSOCIATION TREAT Over 160 poor children from the Freeman’s Bay and Lower Parnell districts were entertained at a picnic on Bucklands Beach yesterday by the Play and Recreations Association. They were taken in 16 private cars to the beach at 1.30 p.m., returning late in the afternoon. Games were played on the sands.
The picnic was organised by Mrs Miller.
