Author «f “Tarry; Knight!” a charming fantasy published last year by Hamilton, Mr C. R. Allen is also known to readers of THE SUN through his frequent contributions, mostly to this page. He is a New Zealander, the son, of Sir James Allen, formerly the Dominion’s High Commissioner in London. A collection of Mr Alien's plays is to be published in the autumn English publishing Beason by Basil Blackwell, Ltd., of Oxford. Tha collection will include: “The Singing Heart.” “The Four Foundlings, “When Mr Punch was Young,'* and “Pierrette Cheats the Pablisher,** the first three of which have been per. formed in London.
