Mr. C. ft. Towle has returned from » Visit to Sydney. Mr. J- W. Smith, of Gore, arrived from the South this morning. The Hon. Mark Cohen, M.L.C., left for the South by train last evening. Professor T. G. R. Blunt left for the couth last evening by the Limited. >[r. A. L. Walker arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Dr. Ellison, director of Maori hygiene, is 3jiending a few days in Auckland. The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, returned to Wellington last evening. The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M.L.C., will arrive in Auckland this evening from Dargaville. Mr. F. D. Thomson, permanent head o( the Prime Minister's Department, was a passenger for Wellington last evening by the Limited. The Rev. C. F. Askew. Dean of Neljon, is on a visit to Auckland. He is accompanied by Mrs. Askew. They are *t the Granc". Hotel. Dr. Ada Paterson. director of School Hygiene, Health Department, who is visiting Auckland, will return to Wellington on Saturday. Dr. H. P. Pickerill, a world expert in plastic surgery, now resident in Sydney. arrived in Wellington yesterday on a visit to New Zealand. He was formerly in Dunedin. The Mayor of Newmarket, Mr. S. Donaldson, will represent the Borough Couacil at the Municipal Conference to bs held at Nelson early in March. The Hon. T. R.
