MAN FOUND POISONED

CONDITION SERIOUS A married man, Edward James Patterson, aged 29, was found in his room at the “Kirkland” boardinghouse. Upper Queen Street, suffering from the effects of poison. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital in a critical condition, but this morning had improved. His condition is still considered serious.
