ALLCOTT NOT AVAILABLE HENDY REPLACES HIM The Auckland cricket eleven to play Wellington in the Plunket Shield match at Wellington on January 27, 2£. 30 and 31, was selected yesterday. AUcott was included in the original selection, but he notified the selectors today that he was not available. He has been replaced by Hendy. Of the team which played Canterbury, Gillespie and Garrard have been dropped, Hendy coming on for the first time, and A. F. Weir, who played iru th© Otago match, being again included. Practices will be .held at Eden Park to-night and on Monday and Tuesday of next week. The team will leave Auckland for Wellington ,on Wednesday night of next week, the 25th. A match will also be played against Manawatu at Palmerston North on February 1 and 2. '
