TO RACE AT HOME

AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB Avondale is looking forward to autumn for a renewal of the busy period that used to characterise local race meetings before the course was closed prior to the extensive improvement scheme now nearing completion. The meeting- set down for that period by the Avondale Jockey Club is to be held on the suburban course, despite the fact that the grandstand improvements have not yet been effected. The new course is a decided improvement on the old one.
