COMBINED MEETING PROGRAMME FOR TO-MORROW Aucklanders’ attention will now be directed to Kakakawa for the next few days, on the occasion of the Bay of Islands and Waipapakauri combined meetings being held there to-morrow and on Saturday. A N excellent programme is to come up for decision to-morrow, and

the acceptances received last night indicate that there will be some splendid racing. The fields are even all round, and perhaps favourites, who failed badly last week at Dargaville, may come into their own. There are eight races on the card each day, and those for to-morrow should see the following among the fancied division: Maiden Handicap: GAY COCKADE and BAYLY DAMON. Awanui Hack: WEE MARBLE and CORINAX. Waipapakauri Cup: RARAKAU and THE AUTHOR. Kaitaia Handicap: MARBLE MOUNT and GAY COCKADE. Ahipara Handicap: BRIGHT DAWN and ARCH QUEEN. Mangonui High-weight: ARCH QUEEN and FIERY LAD. Waiharara Handicap: DAVE and TAKUTAMA. Houhora Handicap: RARAKAU and ILLINGAR.
