STEADY MARKET HUDDARTS IMPROVE Although the market is quiet a healthy tone exists and most of the better class shares are in demand. Bank of New South Wales have improved during the week and now stand with buyers £46 ss, sellers £46 15s, while other bank shares are steady at recent prices. In the insurance section New Zealands have improved to see sales at 41s 3d. Dalgety shares are in good demand at increased prices, sales having taken place at £l3 7s 6d. in shipping Huddart-Parker have improved to buyers 495, sellers 50s 3d. Wilsons Cement are slightly easier, with sales at 37s lOd. Mining remains very quiet.
