NZ. REFRIGERATING COY
A preliminary announcement has been made by the directors of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, in anticipation of the report and balancesheet to be issued next week, that the net profit for the year ended October 31 was £60,545. The directors recommend the payment of a final dividend of 2J per cent., making 5 per cent, for the year, and a special bonus of 2J per cent. The net profit for 1925-26 was £4,CjO, making with the balance brought forward £54,558. Of this amount £12,103 was written off in respect of the purchase of the "Wanganui Meat Freezing Company’s business, and no dividend was recommended, the balance of £42,456 being carried forward. The dividend and bonus now proposed will absorb £47,723 ss. In 1923, 1924 1925 the company paid dividends or b i per cent.
