Rubbish Fire at Mount Eden.—A rubbish fire on a section at the corner of Carmen Avenue and Dominion Road at 4.30 a.m. yesterday was easily extinguished by the Mcfunt Eden brigade before any damage was done.
Valuable Greenstone. Professor Speiring Johnson, of the Auckland University, found a beautiful greenstone adze on the sandhills near Pandora yesterday. The. probable value is about £3O.
