LITTLE GIRL DROWNED
FELL INTO LAGOON Press Association. GREYMOUTH, Friday. A little girl, Mary O’Connor, aged four years, was drowned between four and five o’clock this afternoon in a lagoon at Preston Road. It is not known how she got into the lagoon. The water at high tide is not more than a foot deep.
