Round the Churches
The Right Rev. Bishop Anderson will preach, at the morning service at St. Matthew’s Church, Wellesley Street, to-morrow. In the evening the Rev. Jasper Calder will officiate. An anthem, “O Taste and See,” will be sung. Services as usual are being held tomorrow by the Associated Churches of Christ at Ponsonby Road, Dominion Road, Richmond. Onehunga, Avondale, and Pukekohe. The Rev J. Haslop, of Canada, is to speak at both services at Edend&le Presbyterian Church to-morrow. At the Somervell Church, Remuera Road, the Rev. A. C. Randerson, M.A., 8.D.. of Rotorua, will conduct both services. At the Grange Road Baptist Church to-morrow Mr. L. O. Stanton, secretary of the Oriental Mission, will speak in the morning, and Mr. Bruce Scott, superintendent of the Bible Training Institute, at a Communion service in the evening. Nurse Clayton is to speak at the Spiritualists’ Churcli in the 1.0.0. F, Hall, Pitt Stret. at 7 p.m. to-morrow. Her subject will be “The Key of Heaven.’’ A talk on the “Human Aura” will be delivered by Mrs. Harris-Roberts at the Spiritual Scientists’ Church. Newton Chambers, to-morrow. “Life” is the subject chosen for discusion at the First Church of Christian Scientists to-morrow. The usual.services are being held. At the Methodist Central Mission the missioner, the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour, will speak on “Big Little Things” at the morning meeting. The Rev. A. J. Seamer, superintendent of home missions, will conduct a Communion service in the evening. The usual song service of the Y.M.C.A. will be held to-morrow after noon. Mr. W. T. Anderson will conduct a memorial service at the Progressive Church of Spiritualists at Newmarket to-morrow*. Mr. B. M. Wilson is to preach at the usual services of the Royal Oak Bap** tist Church to-morrow.
