WAIKATO HOSPITAL

IN NEED OF WATER SHORTAGE OF DOCTORS (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The Waikato Hospital Board is today in a serious position with regard to the water supply and the question has been referred to a committee, Which will immediately consider the position with a view to erecting a reservoir as a provision against a future breakdown of the supply. The board decided to take over the management of the Arapuni Medical Club, receiving in return fees estimated at £ 400 per annum. Dr. G. W. Gower referred to the difficulty in getting junior doctors. Two were leaving in February and already the institution was short. It was decided to offer Dr. McMicken inducement to remain.
