ANDY BRYCE HANGS UP SIGN A CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK Andy Bryce, son of the well-known high-class trainer and reinsman, J.
KOHARA (Scotty) Bryce, who has already commenced to follow' in “father's footsteps,” is remaining in Auckland to set up as a public trainer. Young Bryce has had good tuition at the business and commencing from the very foundation has built up an experience and knowledge that will -help to make him a successful mentor. As a horseman and reinsman his prowess is w'ell-knowm to.followers of the sport, and he started the 1927-28 season remarkably well by driving Kohara to victory in the New Zealand Cup. “Andy,” as he is familiarly termed among trotting enthusiasts, has three horses to commence with — Kohara, Money Spider and D’Artagnan, who have been left under his capable supervision to be prepared for the Otahuhu fixture next month. There is no doubt this team will soon
be augmented and the young trainer should meet with a good measure of success at the game.
