BATTERED TO DEATH
STEWART ISLAND TRAGEDY INQUEST CONCLUDED Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Wed. The inquest concerning the death of Andrew Josey, who was found battered to death on Stewart Island on December 14 was concluded to-day when the jury returned a verdict that deceased met his death at about 4 a.m. on December 14 through shock and loss of blood due to injuries received at the hands of Arthur Valentine.
