DUMPING OF BUTTER
CANADA SEEKS DUTY By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. OTTAWA, Monday. It is stated that heavy pressure has been used for the reimposition of the dumping duty on Australian butter, but little fear is expressed that the Government will yield to the demands. Such a course would endanger the trade treaty, which is regarded with increasing respect in Eastern Canada and British Columbia. The Minister of Finance, Mr. J. A. Robb, reported strongiy against the reimposition of the duty.—A. and N.Z.
