NOVELTY for the sitting room which does away with the smokers’ necessity for matches and their consequent untidy matchends, takes the form of a charming cigarette lighter. It is made to the design of an old English street lamp, 9 5 inches high , and works on the loheel and flint principle. It may he had in brass, oxidised silver plate, or oxidised and gilt ; The nut season has arrived, and tico new nut dishes which add colour and charm to the table are therefore of interest. Both dishes, are in the shape of a leaf. On the , one dish there are two realistid nuts, on the other, thoroughly enjoying a nut and zpith tail raised, sits a delightful little squirrel. * SK SK 3K 3K 3K %3K3$ SK *
