PRESENTATIONS

MR. A. A. THORNTON’S SERVICES Members of the Auckland Province Branch of the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association yesterday presented Mr. A. A. Thornton, late chief dairy produce grader, with a cheque for £IOO. Officers of the Dairy Division also presented him with an address and cheque. The presentations were made at the residence of Mr. Thorntons son-in-law, in Morrinsville, where he is recuperating after a severe illness. Mr. Thornton’s splendid services were referred to in the warmest terms by all speakers.
