JUMPED FROM LORRY WHEN TYRE BURST
YOUTH BADLY INJURED Press Association. GISBORNE, Tuesday. When a lorry laden with wool was proceeding to Gisborne from Ngatapa a tyre burst and a younger brother of the driver, William Edward Leslie, aged 15, jumped out and the lorry passed over him. He sustained a fracture of the skull, a fracture of the pelvis and a fracture of one arm. His condition is critical.
