MONSTER’S TENACIOUS FIGHT (From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA. Saturday. A large stingray, measuring about 4ft from tip to tip of the flappers, was speared In the vicinity of Rat Island this week. The monster had two stings, and fought tenaciously before it was killed.
