FOUND IN THE LUPINS

SINGLE WOMAN’S DEATH EVIDENCE OF POISON Press Association. DUNEDIN, To-day. At the inquest on .Georgina Waters, a single woman, aged 35 years, found dead in the lupins at St. Kilda on Thursday last, medical evidence showed that the gullet was covered with inflammatory membrane, showing that the delicate lining had been destroyed by some liquid swallowed shortly before death. The Coroner said no doubt the liquid had been self-administered, and adjourned the inquest for an analysis of the stomach contents.
