DEATH AT PUAHUE

POPULAR FOOTBALLER The death occurred at Puahue on Thursday of a popular young man in that district, Mr. John Baillie. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Baillie, who are well known at Puahue. Deceased, who was only 27 years of age, had been in the Pukekohe district for some time, but on returning home just before Christmas developed an illness that terminated in dropsy. He played halfback for Parawera seniors last football season. The funeral took place at the Te Awamutu cemetery on Friday.
