UNEMPLOYMENT DECREASE
THIS WEEK’S STATISTICS Figures supplied by the Labour B*partment this morning show a dec ret# in the number of unemployed. The total number of men out of wwt this week is 442, compared with last week. Of this number 411 are classed as fit for heavy work and 31 as suitable for light work only. Tht figures for the preceding week wn 443 and 47 respectively. Men placed in employment curinf the week number 196, compared with 42 for the week ending December It- =====
