PRAISE FOR NORA McMANUS

VORA McMANUS, the Auckland girl, Has been attracting attention for her work in the recent Sydney revival of “Wi Idflower.” She played the lead in her native New Zealand in “Whirled Into Happiness,” and she has gone on at various times for Marie Burke in “Frasquita,” and also for the part of Bianca in “Wildflower,” and for Madame Durand in “Castles in the Air,” when Byrl Walkley was out of the cast. In fact she has been understudying the stars for several years now, and, her small work standing out so well, it looks as though it were time she came out of the chorus for good. Rowena Ronald waited five years in a chorus line on less experience, and then put her best foot forward. Why not Nora McManus?
