In less than three years, June Marlowe has become one of the most popular of the screen's younper actresses. Her latest role is in the ingenue lead of “Alias the Deacon,” the Universal-Jewel production star-'-ring Jean Hersholt- Miss Marlowe took up a screen career after graduating from Hollywood High School. After playing in a number of pictures she was selected for the feminine lead in Universals’ “The Old Soak.” and gave such a remarkable performance that a long-term contract resulted.
