NATIONAL AND LYRIC

EXCELLENT PROGRAMME "The Danger Girl,” Priscilla Dean’s latest Master Picture, is now being shown at the National and Lyric Theatres. , . .. . This is a mystery melodrama that holds the interest from start to finish. Miss Dean makes her entry into the picture over the roof-tops, and finds herself in the home of two of New York's most wealthy bachelors. One collects precious gems; the other collects fish. And naturally, when a gang of daring thieves attempt to steal the gems, fish are forgotten by all except the elder brother. , . . _ Things happen thick and fast. Sympathies are with the girl from the start. Ultimately the audience is let in on the secret —but not until the end of the picture. There is melodrama, comedy and a story exceptionally well acted, directed and told. An excellent cast supports the star, Oissv Fitzgerald. Arthur Hoyt. William Humphrey Gustave Von SeyfCertiJz. Clarence Burton, and Erwin Connolly are ideally cast. _ ~ -The Black Diamond Express, featuring Monte Blue, is the second feature on the programme.

The beautiful Corinne Griffith’s vast army of admirers will next greet her in niotures as a United Artists Star. P Miss Griffth has announced that the inn Will be filmed partly in colour, a fact that should lend much additional lavishness to a very beautiful story.
