SOMETHING TO BEWARE OF.—There is an old superstition that those who smell the aloe-tree in bloom fal violently in love with the first person of the opposite sex they meet. But the danger is lessened by the aloe-true itself, which blooms once every 25 years or so. One is in bloom at the moment in Cornwall Park.
