Mutton.— Ewes, 4d to sd: market has improved: supplies are short. Wethers. 4|d to B|d; demand is good, and likely to continue. Lambs, 11 Id to 12d; expecting a decline owing to high prices checking the demand. Beef—3d to 4}d : market is depressed. Pork. —7Jd to Sad. Butter.—l6Ds to 1545: market is steady. Cheese. —92s to 945: market is firm.
