WATCH STOLEN IN BAR PRISON FOR ARGENTINIAN “Time flies” is evidently the business slogan of Horace Martines, an Argentinian, aged 43, who was sentenced at the Police Court today to three months’ imprisonment for theft. Martines pleaded guilty to a charge f stealing a watch valued at 50s. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that accused, who had been refused drink in a bar, was seen to hustle in among a group of men and steal a watch from one of them. Accused had a list of previous convictions.
