AUCKLAND TO WELLINGTON WORK AT NGAHAURANGA (From Our Resident Reporter. ) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Plant is being erected and material gathered for bitumenising the main Wellington-Auckland road through the Ngaliauranga Gorge leading from the Hutt Road out of Wellington to Johnsonville. About half a mile of the lower porbut the remainder of the road, particularly on some of the most dangerous corners, is in a disgraceful condition. The actual surfacing should commence shortly.
