Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Wed. “The Times” says that 1928 will bo the most important year in the history of the British film industry. The Home trade has distinctly progressed, largely owing to the anticipatory effects of the Films Act, which was enforced on January 1, although several important provisions are inoperative until later. Many new studios are being built.— Times.
