FARM LAD’S FATE A POOR SWIMMER Press Association . NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. A farm labourer named George inry Guest, aged 17 years, was owned in a dam on the farm of Mr R. Nicholas, Matapu, on Sunday Guest was not a good swimmer, but dived into the dam and reached (opposite side. He was, however, unit to pull himself out, and he called 1 help. A fellow-employee, J. M. » i, and another swimmer, Albert E. lies, went to assist Guest, but he aght hold of Wood’s arm, dragging a under the water. It was only :!i difficulty that Wood saved him t Guest then went under a third is and disappeared. The body was lovered. Jeceased was the son of Mr. G. H. est, Wellington.
