“THE BUGLE CALL” A replica of one of th.e old-time forts built along the line of the historic Bozeman Trail, gateway to the West, was constructed, equipped and manned bv a troop of cavalry for scenes in Jackie Coogan's latest starring vehicle "The Bugle Call,” now being shown at the Grand Theatre.. The new Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production is a thrilling historical romance, laid in the 70’s, when the cavalry fought through the Indian country to settle the Pacific Si Jackie Coogan, a cavalry boy in a frontier post in the picture, on which he appears in what is a new role to many of his followers, as a boy approaching his teens-with a haircut and everything. Jackie s thrilling adventure with the Indians, toe sensational battles on the plains and other thrilling incidentals to the stoiy a e all woven into an appealing human interest romance.
