BLAZE AT PONSONBY

TEA ROOMS DAMAGED Considerable damage to the stock and fittings of the confectionery shop and tea-rooms of J. R. Munro, Ltd., at the corner of Ponsonby Road and Anglesea Street, Ponsonby, was done by a fire which broke out a little before yesterday. The City West Fire Brigade saved the living rooms above the shop. The building, which is owned by Mrs. Taylor, of Remuera, is insured for £SOO, and a policy for £9OO is held on the contents by the Australian Provincial Assurance Association.
