PROGRESS OF WORK The engineer of the Bay of Plenty Electric-Power Board reports as follows: Rapid progress has been made on the transportation and erection of poles, and block wiring has commenced. The poles erected to date number over 600, while the number of poles transported total over 1,200, and the number of poles manufactured, 4,0 4,005. The contractors for the block wiring have commenced operations on domestic installations that have been booked up in the country area between Waimana and Opotiki. The board’s wiring staff expect to start operations early in the New Year on alterations in the borough.
