Press Association. TIMARU, Monday. At the South Canterbury Caledonian Society’s New Year sports to-day, the South Island mile cycling championship was won by W. Willmott (Timaru), who beat Phil O’Shea (Christchurch) by a length in 2m 21 4-ss.
