CONTROL OF THE RACES By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Monday. A meeting of subscribers to the Barry fund decided to attempt to form a board of control to manage the contests for the world sculling championship. Steve Fairbairn will be offered a seat if the Australian oarsmen agree. Nothing was settled regarding the race for the championship until Barry’s return.—A. and N.Z.
