ONE-DAY TRIPS—NO. 7
A trip that is rather off the beaten track is to Waikato Heads, at the mouth of the Waikato River, reached through Pukekohe and Tuakau. Shortly after leaving Tuakau the Waikato River is crossed and the journey made to the mouth along the left bank. Part of this road is of clay.
