WOMAN COLLAPSES

SEIZURE IN STREET While crossing the main street in Te Kuiti shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Mrs. Lett, a visitor from Mangapeehi, had a seizure just as she reached the kerb, and, falling heavily, struck her head on a veranda post, and suffered a severe cut three inches long above the left eye. Constable Annabel, who happened to be in the vicinity, went to the woman’s assistance and rendered first aid, and then conveyed her to the nearest surgery, where medical attention was given. Mrs. Lett, who was in a very dazed condition, was suffering severely from shock.
