ROYAL SUNBEAMS
AT TWO THEATRES r. Those incomparable children, the j Royal Australian Sunbeams, are con- . tinuing to attract large audiences at the National and Prince Edward Theatres. A troupe of 35 performers offer a ! programme that pleases the most j severe critic and speaks well for the ' i tuition that has been received at the . hands of the directress, Miss Royal. Jackie Clarke is always welcome to h Auckland audiences and Baby Doreen L has also established herself in their L hearts. Harry Ussher, the wonder boy soprano, continues to charm with j his sweet voice. The ballet numbers are all well executed and have proved very popular. “Carnival Time” is the 1 second production, but it is not second [ in merit and those who saw the first L production should not miss seeing this ' new presentation. A fine picture programme is screened r in support of the Sunbeams at both theatres.
