One thing w’hicii has been noted with approval in smart circles is that the younger set are using much less make-up than their sisters of past seasons.
There are fashions even in paint and powder, and the really smart women of to-day no longer rely on orange lipstick and carmined cheeks. Instead, they use a wash which is & secret of the beauty specialists. It is not a liquid pow’der, but when spread over the face gives a love’y pale bloom which lasts for many hours and makes frequent powderings quite unnecessary. One of its ingredients is white of egg. which is excellent for toning up the .skin-
