“CARNIVAL TIME”
PRINCE EDWARD THEATRE A new production, “Carnival Time,” is now being: presented at the Prince Edward Theatre by the Koyal Australian Sunbeams. All of the 35 child performers are artists, and they provide a varied entertainment. Acts are new and original, and the costuming is pleasing to the eye. The performance reflects great credit on Miss Chrissie Royal, one of Australia’s foremost teachers of dancing, who is the directress of the young company. Jackie Clarke, Baby Doreen. Gwen Jones and Harry Ussher give pleasing performances, and the ballets, especially the “Dance of the Dolls” and “Butterflies and Roses,” give a charming effect. The Acrobatic Sunbeams give a fine exhibition of tumbling and human pyramid-building. There is a complete change of picture programme, “The Frontiersman” being the feature.
