At the Australian and New Zealand Amateur Athletic Championships at Wellington this week, an 18-year-old Sydney College boy, "Jimmy" Carlton, defeated all the State and Dominion champions in the 100yds and 220yds. The picture shows the finish of the 100yds, Carlton, the winner, being on the extreme left. Leadbetter (N.Z.), who was third, is fourth from the left.
