TpHE Board of Control for Inter- -*■ national Cricket gave attention to correspondence from the Marylebone Cricket Club and the New Zealand Cricket Council, regarding a proposal that the English team should play two matches in New Zealand at the end of the 1928-29 tour. The board decided that it could not consider any suggestions that would involve a curtailment of the Australian programme. No provision is made for a visit to New Zealand in the itinerary, which shows that th© team will commence the tour with a match against the West Australian colts at Perth on October 13. It will visit all the States, and conclude the tour at Perth on March 28.
